The Blue&Green Vilalara Thalassa Resort has been nominated for the World Travel Awards 2010, in the category “Portugal’s Leading Spa Resort”.

The World Travel Awards were created in 1993 to recognise and celebrate excellence in the world travel and tourism industry. Based on the votes on 183,000 industry professionals, winning an award has become one of the most important distinctions that a tourism product can receive.

The 5000-plus nominations for 2010, from 162 countries, are based on last year’s voting and recommendations made by travel and tourism professionals. Voting is done online, by registering (for free) at  www.worldtravelawards.com/vote and the European nominees can be voted for until 10 September 2010. We would invite you to vote.

The European winners will be announced on 1 October 2010, at a Gala ceremony to be held at The Rixos Premium Belek in Antalya, Turkey.
